Spray on solar panels coming soon

spray-on-solar-panelOk, maybe not soon. But researchers at the University of Texas have developed a spray-on photovoltaic film that could replace conventional solar panel technology in the near future. The microscopic nano-cells are 10,000 times thinner than a human hair and convert 1% of the sun’s light into electricity. This is an incredibly small amount, but is a strikingly similar challenge that was faced by the creators of the first solar panels.
