Hiya, great idea to have guest blogs. We're trying to get our company and business more eco-friendly and the information we'll be able to get from this page will be invaluable. It's great to have experts giving out advice on topics, keep it up.

Well, it might be a stretch, depending on how you feel about expanding the 'hippie' framework into a political dimension, but as a classically defined Hippie (1967--on the floor of the Filmore West as Santana opened for Janis/Big Brother) it is my belief that the prevailing political critical thinking of that era is badly needed in the face of the current absolute depth of hypocrisy promulgated by the likes of John Boehner or Mitch McConnell. Or Bush and Cheney.

So, essentially, it makes sense to demand the same level of accountability which sank Richard Nixon. We certainly live in more perilous times now, yet we act with timidity, doubtless born of inculcated, unreasonable fear.

Just as we are responsible for creating, endorsing, and using eco-friendly products mindful of our carbon footprint, we equally bear the responsibility to insist upon the end to tyrannical political and social practices.

Green politics, if you will.

Here's a bit more about me:

So, I am looking for a home base, and if you can see a 'fit' between us, I will be most accommodating regarding terms. I would fully expect to give my very best, and to earn my credibility in part as a result of large increases in page views and subscribers to the Hippie Magazine.

Thanks for the consideration.
